Conservation Fund buys 762 acres to connect Alabamas Pinhoti Trail with Flagg Mountain

The Arlington, Va.-based Conservation Fund has purchased 762 forested acres in Coosa County that will connect Alabama's Pinhoti Trail to Flagg Mountain, the southernmost Appalachian Mountain. The Pinhoti Trail travels more than 300 miles through Alabama and Georgia, where it connects to the Appalachian Trail.
