Conservationists add over 150 acres to protected Campbell County land

Two local conservationists have added more than 150 acres of forestland to the 6,100 acres currently protected in Campbell County. January 29, 2011 Janice Coleman and Bobby Kibler granted the agency working forest conservation easements, according to the Virginia Department of Forestry. Coleman granted an easement for 66 mostly forested acres outside Rustburg. Kibler’s easement is for 92 acres of land along the border of Bedford and Campbell counties.
