The largest transactions were two offers to purchase that could result in 195 acres for business development purposes north of the city. The council approved 14-0 to make an offer to purchase 83.6 acres from Donald and Sandra Snyder for $973,000. It also approved 14-0 to make an offer to purchase 111.4 acres from Zieman Properties for $1.23 million.
