County city hope airport land deal takes off

Winnebago County and the city of Oshkosh hope a land purchase and infrastructure extensions could add almost 200 acres of developable land to Wittman Regional Airport's Industrial Park. January 06, 2011 The county's Personnel and Finance Committee will consider a request to spend as much as $3.2 million to acquire 115-acre and 80-acre properties toward the south end of Wittman the Aviation Committee approved in December. Airport Director Peter Moll said the Winnebago County Board could consider the funding request by March.
