Tribal land plan moving forward

The Fond du Lac County Board of Supervisors has given its blessing to the Forest County Potawatomi tribe's plan to place an 80-acre plot of land in trust with the U.S. government. December 27, 2010 The County Board voted 13-4 last week to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the Potawatomi that would allow the tribe to move forward with its plans for property in the town of Ashford.
