Wausau Paper sells 80200 acres of timberland

Wausau Paper Products Corp. said Friday it was selling its remaining timber holdings of about 80,200 acres in two transactions that mark the end of the last large parcels of land held by a paper company in Wisconsin. December 16, 2011 Wausau Paper, based in Mosinee, said it was selling about 72,800 acres to Lyme Timber Co. of Hanover, N.H. About 7,400 acres were sold to the Forestland Group, which has timber holdings in Wisconsin and other states in the eastern U.S.
