County officials urge approval of land sale

Teton County approved a letter to Wyoming lawmakers Monday urging them to approve a bill that would allow the transfer of 1,406 acres of state school-section land to the National Park Service. January 25, 2011 Signed by Chairman Ben Ellis, the commissioners hope to influence and speed passage of House Bill 156 because, they said, it would codify the protection of these lands as part of Grand Teton National Park.
