Rugged case design affords the durability needed in some settings. Built-in altimeter can provide important information for hikers, bikers, and skiers. Has an external antenna which is preferable for situations where open sky is limited. This unit is somewhat heavy, weighing in at 8.3 oz.

Value: Notwithstanding its expensive price, this GPS receiver has good features for the money. Also note this unit is able to store up to 500 waypoints. This is in line with the average GPS device. Device is covered by a 1 year warranty.
