Rio Arriba County has a more laid back attitude about what you can and can not do with real property in their jurisdiction. The county itself has one zoning designation (Rural Residential) and applies it to most all the land including this subdivision. While they do not allow you to live indiscriminately out of your RV, you can park and camp one in the same spot for up to 3 months, which is longer than youll find in most parts of New Mexico. From the 573, there is a road with a gate which will lead you out to this property. Were told the gate is open most days until 5PM.
