The cattle include 73 mature brangus type cows 5 and 6 years of age. 50% calve in the fall and 50% calve in the spring. In addition there are 6 breeding age brangus bull. The cattle will be range delivered, but the count will be guaranteed.

the ranches partitioned into three larger pastures and three smaller holding traps located in proximity of the headquarters. Livestock and domestic water is provided by three wells and approximately 15 miles of buried water pipeline. All of the wells are interconnected by the water pipeline system. The wells are 300 to 500 feet deep and are mostly equipped with solar powered submersible pumps. the pumping capacity is reported to be between 3 and 7 gallons per minute.

The terrain is diversified described as nearly level grassland on the southern end of the ranch to steep hill land with intermittent draws and arroyos. There are several earthen tanks located in strategic locations that catch and store rainfall runoff. The dirt tanks provide water for both livestock and wildlife. The vegetation includes several varieties of grama grasses, taboos grass, blue stem and three awns in addition to several brush and browse species. The Carrizozo Malpais escarpment forms the eastern boundary of the ranch. The escarpment is estimated to be approximately 1500 years old.

The headquarters is located in the southeast portion of the ranch accessed by a privately maintained roadway. The improvements include one 1,300 square foot residence with two bedrooms and one bath. Construction is concrete block with a pro-panel roof cover. No electric service is available, however there is a solar power provided to the residence. Additional improvements include a hay barn, one enclosed container storage, and a set of cattle working pens. The pens are designed with sorting pens, a sorting alley, crowd lane along with a powder river tub and squeeze chute. All improvements are entirely functional.
