A tributary of Ceurvo Creek also crosses the ranch and serves as a water source for the lake. The lakes level can also be maintained with water from the irrigation canal system. Vegetation: This ranch also includes a diverse and attractive vegetation which is needed to produce large deer. Brush species include Guajillo, Guyacon, Blackbrush, Granjeno, Whitebrush, Persimmon, Huisache, tasajillo, prickley pear, etc. Elm and Hackberry trees can be found on the creek drainages and mesquite trees are scattered across the ranch.
Terrain: This property ranges from gently rolling hills to low lying creek bottoms. It has an elevation change of 75 feet.
Wildlife: Due to the water and excellent brush diversity, this ranch produces an abundance of native wildlife. The ranch is enrolled in the MLD III program and whitetail deer genetics have been introduced to the ranch.
