Welcome to 2175 Hughes Creek Road. Located close to beautiful Painted Rocks Lake, and the West Fork Bitterroot River's world-famous trout fishing, the property was home to one of the earliest and most famous gold rushes in Montana history. Today it has more to offer than potential reserves of gold: it is an utterly private, end-of-the-road inholding in the middle of the 164,000-acre Allan Mountain Roadless Area. The mountains and streamside are covered with rich forests of Spruce, Fir, Lodgepole and Ponderosa Pine. Along the four miles of Hughes Creek that flows through the property are several ponds and numerous natural springs, bubbling with delicious ice-cold water.
